| Due to the difficult economic climate, the Association is not currently running any public training courses. We are, however, still able to offer in-house training, so if you and your colleagues would benefit from finding out about the EU, how it works and the documents it produces, please get in touch to discuss your requirements. |

ESF-Works is a new
website, 'showcasing projects and products that illustrate the variety of activities taking place under the 2007–2013 European Social Fund (ESF) programme in
England.' Users can share best practice, showcase their achievements and get involved with others. The site includes a library of reports, examples of
publicity materials, project documents, and other materials. Consilium Tendering offers details of calls for tender and expressions of interest for the award of supplies, service and works contracts advertised by the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU. Users can register to receive notification of relevant calls, and can also submit tenders / requests to participate. The site includes a useful FAQ on the procurement process. |

| AskEric |
Our AskEric enquiry service, exclusive to EIA Members, can confidential answering all manner of questions. Visit the website to logon and send your AskEric question. The question Eric is responding to this week is: A case in which my firm has an interest was recently decided in the Court of First Instance (CFI). The question I have been asked is when will we know if it is going to be appealed to the Court of Justice (ECJ)? The answer is that an appeal against a decision of the Court of First Instance may be brought before the Court of Justice within two months of its notification - but only on points of law. Press releases from the CFI - such as this example - include a statement to this effect. |
