Eco-management

A Commission Report 'on incentives for EMAS registered organisations in the period 2004-2006' finds that incentives provided by national authorities can have a positive influence on the uptake of the Community Ecomanagement and audit scheme (EMAS). All Member States apply provide such incentives for businesses to participate in the schem, but that there is potential for improvement. The valid version of the Report is now the revised COM (2010) 6, published on EUR-Lex on 2 February.
