Lisbon Strategy

Published as SEC (2010) 114, the Commission's 'Lisbon Strategy evaluation document' highlights both the achievements of the Strategy and areas where progress has been disappointing. Ahead of a decison on the Europe 2020 initiative, it is, says the Commission, 'an opportunity to identify its strengths, so that they can be retained in its successor, and to highlight its weaknesses so that they are not repeated. 'The first part of this document contains the main findings. The second part describes in more detail developments, progress and shortcomings) across different policy areas.
