Parental leave

A new Directive adopted by the Council extends parental leave from three months to four months for each parent. The Council Directive 'implementing the revised Framework Agreement on parental leave concluded by BUSINESSEUROPE,
UEAPME, CEEP and ETUC' repeals Directive 96/34/EC and is to be implemented by Member states within two years.
