Alzheimer's disease

The European Parliament wants the EU to 'step up co-operation and support to improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care for patients with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias'. MEPs overwhelmingly supported a non-legislative report drafted by Marisa Matias and called for dementia to be made an EU health priority, urging Member States to develop dedicated national plans and strategies.
