Medicines

Council Directive 89/105/EEC (the ’Transparency Directive’) lays down harmonised provisions to ensure the transparency of national measures regulating the pricing and reimbursement of medicinal products. The European Commission has launched a public consultation on modernising the rules, which are intended to promote the free movement of medicines in the EU. The deadline for contributions is 25 May.
