Seveso III

The Council has approved a draft Directive ’on control of major-accident hazards involving dangerous substances’. Published as COM(2010) 781, the proposal seeks to replace the current ’Seveso II Directive’ by 1 June 2015 - and is being referred to as 'Seveso III'.
