Education - key data

'Key data on education in Europe 2009' gives a 'comprehensive picture of the latest trends regarding the organisation and functioning of the education systems of 31 European countries'. Compiled by the Eurydice Network, the report's findings include a significant rise in the numbers of students in higher education, and imminent large scale retirement of teachers in many countries.
